WELCOME BACK DANNY AND CHARITY! | Danny and Charity are officially back from sabbatical and would love to connect with you all! On August 27th at 6p, the Elders are hosting an informal reception to allow you to hear from them about their sabbatical experiences. Bring a dessert to share. At 6:30p they will share about their time away..come and join us!

LADIES FALL STUDY | Join the Ladies of Grace as they work through Jen Wilkin’s study entitled “1 Peter”. This is a study of the book of 1 Peter. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and an eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. The study will be offered on Monday Evenings and Tuesday Mornings beginning September 11 & 12th. Childcare is available on Tuesday mornings only. For $15 you get a study guide and 9 opportunities to grow in the Lord alongside ladies that we’re pretty certain you will love! See the Welcome Center to sign up!

LIFEGROUP SIGNUP | Our small groups ministry (LIFEgroups…short for Living in Faith Everyday) will begin meeting again soon. New to LIFEgoups? You can get signed up by visiting the Welcome Center or going to www.greenvillegrace.org, navigating to the LIFEgroups ministry page and completing the form under “Sign Up for a LIFE Group” on the right side of the page. Those that are currently in a LIFEgroup, contact your leader to let them know if you are staying or if you will be switching to a new group.

MEN’S TRAINING RE-START IS COMING | Men, come join us as we start a year-long study (ends in May 2018) into the heart of what it means to be a man…and a Godly one at that! No pre-prep is required. Just come willing to listen, learn, and interact with topics and other men! We will begin our every other Monday meeting schedule on September 11 at 7p. Join us!

PORTERBROOK LEARNING IS COMING | Want to dive deeper into practical and theological topics? Danny Wright (teaching pastor) is hosting a monthly class beginning in September doing just that! Participation is $30 for each class (resources) and requires the advance reading of about 65 pages. Contact Danny at danny@greenvillegrace.org ASAP!

LONG STORY SHORT | This weeks lesson: Lesson 73 (Four Men in a Furnace). Your Children’s Church teacher will spend time working through the basic storyline of this week’s lesson. The lessons in Long Story Short (the book all of our classes use) are broken into 5 days to help facilitate a consistent, Gospel-centered family devotion time in your home. Copies of the book are available at the Welcome Center or by contacting the church office @ 937.547.0065.
