Announcements for April 14

GIPE FAMILY SABBATICAL | From March 3-April 28, Grace is sending Marshall and his family on a sabbatical to Rest, Recalibrate, and Renew. Pray for Marshall, Becky, and the kids as they spend time in Florida, watching baseball, and on the west coast. Pray for them to be rested, energized and excited to return to ministry at Grace.

PORTERBROOK | Join us for our next discussion! The May topic is Culture. We will be meeting to discuss the unit Saturday, May 11th, 7-9a in the back big classroom at the church. SPRING WORKDAY | Mark your calendars to join us this Saturday, April 20, from 8a-12p for a deep cleaning workday here at the church. This will help get the church looking good for graduation parties and weddings this spring/summer. Questions? Contact Pete Eikenberry at 937.459.7966

GRACE MOMS CLOTHING EXCHANGE | On Saturday, April 27th from 9:00-11:00a Grace Moms will be having their annual clothing exchange. If you have any children’s clothes size newborn to 14, maternity clothes, or baby gear (you no longer want or need and do not want them back) please bring them to the clothing exchange. You do not need to bring anything to take something. All items left will be donated. We are also having brunch, so bring your favorite brunch item to share. Questions? LIES GIRLS BELIEVE STUDY| Moms & tween girls, This summer, beginning  MondayJune 3rd from 10:00-11:30a there will be a 7 week study on the book Lies Girls Believe by Dannah Gresh & Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. This study walks through lies that girls are prone to in areas of salvation, God, identity, friendships, sin, and more. Cost of books (mom & daughter) is $25, $12 for an extra girls book. Open to girls grades 4-8th. An informational meeting is scheduled for April 28th between services in the back classroom. Questions contact Rachel Wooten at 937.621.2989

BLOOD DRIVE | There will be a blood drive here at Grace Monday, May 6th, 3-7pm. To schedule your donation time go to www.donortime.com. We will see you then!

MOTHER/DAUGHTER BRUNCH | Are you a mother or a daughter or both? Come join the ladies of Grace on Saturday, May 13th at 10:00 for their Mother/Daughter brunch. Bring yourself, your mother, your daughter, or both. Please sign up at the Welcome Center by May 5th so we know how many to expect!

MEN’S GOLF OUTING | Grace Men’s Ministry is participating in a multi-church golf outing on Saturday, May 18 @ 11:30a at Highland Golf Course in Richmond, IN. Shotgun start at 11:30a and the format will be best-ball. Cost is $25/player. Signup is available at the Welcome Center, deadline is May 5th.

OLD STORY NEW | This week’s lesson: Lesson 71 (God Breathed the Scriptures) Your child’s Children’s Church teacher will spend time working through the basic storyline of this week’s lesson. The lessons in Old Story New (the book all of our classes use) are broken into 5 days to help facilitate a consistent, Gospel-centered family devotion time in your home. Copies of the book are available at the Welcome Center or by contacting the church office @ 937.547.0065.
