Gloria Furman searches the scriptures for the mission of God in motherhood. “Choosing Gratitude: Your Journey to Joy” challenges & equips the reader to live a life of intention, a life based on thankfulness for the freedom Christ has provided and for the blessing of others. “Choosing Gratitude will be offered on Monday evening and Tuesday Morning. “Missional Motherhood” will only be offered on Tuesday morning. FALL 2016 FINANCE UPDATE YTD | October 31, 2016 the General Fund giving is $343,526, which is $5,176 (1.5%) over budget. The expenses are $328,080, which is $10,350 (3.1%) under budget, resulting in an excess of $15,446 in revenue over expenses. As a result of significant wind damage, that was likely to repeat, a decision was made to make a substantial investment in a metal roof for the front section of the building. The cost, after the insurance settlement, is $29K and sufficient funds from the General and Designated Funds have been set aside to cover these costs. If anyone has any questions and/or comments please feel free to forward those to the office or speak to any of the following finance team members: Linda Fourman, Mike Gallagher, Katie McKee, Kent Powell or Monty Stump.

WELCOME TO GRACE CLASS  |  If you enjoy coming to Grace and would like to learn more about who we are, where we’ve come from, and what we hold to, then join us for a three-session class that began on October 30. The other classes will be held on November 13, and November 27(all Sunday evenings) beginning at 6:00pm here at the church. While this class is required for those pursuing membership at Grace, it is open to all who are interested in learning more about Greenville Grace Church. Register by signing the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center or by contacting the church office @ office@greenvillegrace.org or via phone at 937.547.0065. Childcare will be made available at no cost as required.

BAPTISM SERVICE  |  On Sunday November 27th, we will be having a baptism service. If you would like to be baptized, and this date works for you, please contact the church office at office@greenvillegrace.org or 547-0065. If reading this makes you wonder why anyone would even be baptized and you would like to hear an explanation, call the church office or email us, we’d love the opportunity to discuss it with you!

COMMUNION  | Come rejoice in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord on November 20th at 6p here at Grace. If you know Christ as your savior, we’d love to see you then. If you don’t know Christ as your savior and you’d like to discuss what that even means, feel free to contact the church office and we can set up a time for you to meet with someone. OPERATION  CHIRISTMAS CHILD  |  Once again we are participating in the OCC shoeboxes. Shoeboxes need to be dropped off by the end of 2nd service on Nov. 20th. For more information see the table in the Narthex or contact Nicole Yost @ 937.308.0985.

LONG STORY SHORT  | This week’s lesson: Week 43 (Rahab’s Help). Your Children’s Church teacher will spend time working through the basic storyline of this week’s lesson. The lessons in Long Story Short (the book all of our classes use) are broken into 5 days to help facilitate a consistent, Gospel-centered family devotion time in your home.
