PORTERBROOK | Join us for our next discussion! The October topic is Union with Christ. We will be meeting to discuss the unit this Saturday, October 13 @ 7am in the back big classroom at the church. CARE SERIES | Beginning next Sunday and for the following 5 weeks, Grace will be focusing on how we can “Care for One Another.” Though the series is based on Galatians 6:1-5, each week will involve five daily readings where we will explore how the body of Christ can truly care of one another. We would love to have you join us for this series by downloading the questions each week (www.greenvillegrace.org/resources), joining a LIFEgroup (if you haven’t done so already), and spending time with us in worship on Sunday mornings.

MOWING HELP | The Grace Building and Grounds team is looking for sponsors for a week’s mowing ($85). Visit the Welcome Center to sponsor a week of mowing.

WOMEN’S BREAKFAST | Women of Grace please join the Women’s ministry ladies on October 13th at 9:30am for breakfast at the Bank House Café in Verona. Sign up at the Welcome Center by Oct. 7th.

BAPTISM | We will be having a Baptism service on October 14th. PIZZA WITH THE PASTORS |If you’ve been visiting Grace recently and would like to meet our leadership team…this event is for you (and your family)! BACKYARD BIBLE CLUBS | Registration (and volunteer sign-up) for BackYard Bible Clubs is now open! (BBC). Four BBC’s will be held in various locations (4-2 hour sessions each) around the county during the month of July. Registration for students and volunteers is now open! Go to greenvillegrace.org/bbc2018/ to get all the details, to sign up to help with one, and to register your kids!

ELEVATE CANCELLED THIS WEEK | There will be no Elevate Youth this week because many of our teens will be at camp. See you next week for the Gospel Journey Series, beginning at 6:30!

MEN’S GOLF OUTING | JULY 28 Grace Men’s Ministry is hosting a golf outing on July 28 at Turtle Creek. Join us for a day of fun and fellowship! Tee-time is @ 7:30a, and the format will be best-ball. Cost is $30/player (due the day of the scramble, payable to Turtle Creek). Signup is available at the Welcome Center. Sign up today!

ELEVATE TO KING’S ISLAND | On July 31st  Elevate Youth will be going to King’s Island again this year. Cost will be about $40 per ticket. PRAISE IN THE PARK  On August 5 at 10a we will have a one worship service at the Gazebo at the Darke County Fairgrounds. Bring your lawn chairs and join us for worship at 10am!

2017 GIVING STATEMENTS | We recently emailed and snail mailed all giving statements that we have information for. If you have given via check or have an assigned giving number (use giving envelopes), you should have received a giving statement. If you did not, please contact the church office at 937.547.0065 or email office@greenvillegrace.org. We will do our best to serve you!

GIVING ENVELOPES | It’s the beginning of the year and you may be running low on giving envelopes or would like to get them for the first time. Please let the office know if you need more by filing out a connection card and letting us know your name and number or contact Lori at lori@greenvillegrace.org.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH TEACHERS | If you are a member of Grace, we would like to ask that you consider teaching in our Children’s Church. We are in need of teachers for all grade levels for both services. Contact Marshall at marshall@greenvillegrace.org or the office at 937.547.0065.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES | We are in need of volunteers to help with the Welcome Center, Coffee Bar, Greeters, and cleaning. Volunteers work on rotation, so you can volunteer in one area, pick two areas, or help with all areas. LIFEGROUP SIGNUP | Our small groups ministry (LIFEgroups…short for Living in Faith Everyday) will begin meeting this week. New to LIFEgoups? WELCOME TO GRACE CLASS | If you enjoy coming to Grace and would like to learn more about who we are, where we’ve come from, and what we hold to, we are offering a three-session class October 15, October 29, and November 12 (all Sunday evenings) beginning at 6:00pm here at the church. While this class is required for those pursuing membership at Grace, it is open to all who are interested in learning more about Greenville Grace Church. WRIGHT FAMILY SABBATICAL | From May 22 until July 30, Grace is sending Danny and his family on a sabbatical to Rest, Recalibrate, and Renew. Pray for Danny, Charity, and the kids as they tour the western US. Pray that this will be a full and fruitful time where they can be energized and excited for the next 15 years of faithful ministry at Grace.

ELEVATE 7TH GRADE NIGHT | On June 28th, Elevate Youth is excited to welcome our new class of incoming 7th grade students for their first official Wednesday Night Youth! We invite all incoming students to attend from 6:30-8:30pm and to invite as many friends as they want. We’re excited for this new school year and how God is going to work in our students!

TRI-STATE SUMMER CAMP | Tri-State Summer Camp will be July 9-15 in Oregonia, OH. Cost is $230 for Sr. Camp and $205 for Jr. Camp. Camp is available for 4-12th grades. Register online at tristatecamp.com.

MEN’S GOLF OUTING | Men of Greenville Grace here is your chance to hang out with the guys, and have a little fun. Open invitation to friends, Co-workers, and neighbors. All skill levels invited. VBS IS COMING | VBS will be on June 19-23th this year, for kids 3 yrs-6th grade (previous year). Mark your calendars NOW and be ready for a grand adventure. Be watching for Pre-Registration dates & areas where help is needed.

TRI-STATE SUMMER CAMP
| Tri-State Summer Camp will be July 9-15 in Oregonia, OH. Cost for Jr. Camp is $155, and Sr. Camp is $180 if you register by May 31, after May 31 it’s$205 and $230. Camp is available for 4-12th grades. Register online at tristatecamp.com.

We gather on Sundays..then scatter around the valley to meet in homes to encourage each other in our walks with Christ. If you’re not in one…please consider it!! VISION NIGHT | If you call Grace your home join us on January 29th at 6p (a Sunday night) as we will be holding our annual vision night. Please plan on attending this meeting! We will spend some time sharing about all things Grace….from our current financial position, where we see encouraging things happening, what we have been praying for and seeing here at Grace. Childcare will be available.

WOMEN’S STUDY
| This winter the Grace women will have their choice of 2 different studies to pick from; “Missional Motherhood” by Gloria Furman and “Choosing Gratitude. ” by Nancy Leigh Demoss. “Missional Motherhood”, there is not such thing as just mom. Gloria Furman searches the scriptures for the mission of God in motherhood. “Choosing Gratitude: Your Journey to Joy” challenges & equips the reader to live a life of intention, a life based on thankfulness for the freedom Christ has provided and for the blessing of others. “Choosing Gratitude will be offered on Monday evening and Tuesday Morning. “Missional Motherhood” will only be offered on Tuesday morning. Childcare is offered only on Tuesday morning. Next Sunday is last week to sign up. Sign-up’s are located at the Welcome Center.
